Project Management

Any solutions that will be recommended will require a level of planning and resource management. This “role” covers more than just conventional project management, as the requirement is to ensure that the project is fully scoped, understood, bought into and delivered. At ExcluServ we have many years of experience in project management and have a team with varied skills, who are able to take on specific areas of the role with great expertise.

In larger projects we have identified the requirement for a Project Director and Project Manager.

The project director does not get involved in task management, but understands what the high level objectives are and will constantly challenge the project team as to whether they are staying true to them. Typically the project director will also be the person who will be able to sell the project to the organisation including the trustees and where necessary the internal customers.

The project manager ensures that goals and deadlines are achieved and the operational impact of each decision is well thought through. This person will be the day-to-day face of the project within the Finance department.

This separation also ensures that there is continuity and cover on larger projects which minimises the risk of the project being dependant on one person.

What our clients say

"They worked closely with me from the outset to make sure that they clearly understood the objectives"
